Terms of Use (End User License Agreement) for Breef

1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Breef mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Breef is an AI-powered knowledge management application that allows users to:

Save and organize content from any iOS app

Analyze content using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini)

Build a searchable personal knowledge vault

Access premium features through subscription

3. Subscription Services

3.1 Subscription Plans

Free Plan: 25,000 AI tokens per month, basic features

Premium Monthly: $1.99/month, 1,000,000 AI tokens per month, premium features

3.2 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends

Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings

3.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

No refunds for partial periods

3.4 Price Changes

Subscription prices may change with 30 days notice

Continued use after price changes constitutes acceptance

4. Use of the Service

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes to:

Save and analyze content you have permission to access

Build your personal knowledge collection

Search and organize your saved content

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may not:

Use the App for illegal purposes

Attempt to reverse engineer or hack the App

Share your account credentials

Use the App to process copyrighted content without permission

Abuse or overload our systems

Use the App for commercial resale purposes

5. Privacy and Data

5.1 Data Collection

We collect minimal data necessary for App functionality

Content is processed on-demand and not stored on our servers

All content remains on your device unless you explicitly request AI analysis

5.2 AI Processing

When you request content analysis, data is sent to Google Gemini AI

Processed data is immediately deleted from our servers

We do not store or access your personal content

5.3 Analytics

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the App

No personally identifiable information is collected without consent

You can opt out of analytics in your device settings

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 App Ownership

Breef and all related intellectual property are owned by Sandeep Khomne

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App

6.2 User Content

You retain ownership of content you save in the App

You grant us permission to process your content for AI analysis when requested

You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to content you save

7. AI Services Disclaimer

7.1 AI Accuracy

AI-generated summaries and analysis are provided "as is"

We do not guarantee accuracy of AI-generated content

You should verify important information independently

7.2 Third-Party AI

We use Google Gemini AI services

AI processing is subject to Google's terms and availability

We are not responsible for third-party AI service limitations

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Service Availability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability

Features may change or be discontinued with notice

8.2 Damages

Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the subscription

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation of liability

9. Account Termination

9.1 User Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the App settings

Account deletion removes all associated data permanently

Subscriptions must be canceled separately through Apple

9.2 Service Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations

We may discontinue the service with 30 days notice

Data export options will be provided before service termination

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms with notice through the App

Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance

Material changes will require explicit acceptance

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States

Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration

Users in the EU retain consumer protection rights

13. Apple Terms

Your relationship with Apple is governed by Apple's Terms of Service

Some features may not be available in all regions

Local laws may apply to your use of the App

15. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining terms continue in effect.

By using Breef, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.
